I haven’t read this book yet, but have skimmed it. It was a Chrismas gift and so wasn’t my choice. Perhaps I’ll try to make something from this book soon.
3/13/07–After reading through this book I was disappointed to find that most of the recipes include a large amount of wheat and flavor the treats with beef stock. I find that our dogs prefer less wheat, more whole grains and oats and bits of meat–like liver–in their treats. And the best treat of all–liver dried in the oven–isn’t even in this book.
Still there are some ideas I may tinker with someday when I have time, and nothing better to do and the dogs are looking like the might rebel if I feed them another liver brownie. . . .
