Now, don’t get me wrong–I love my daughters. I don’t know what I would do with out ANY of them. However, at times they can be too much.
There was a time, 5 or so years ago, when I hadn’t seen the light. I knew what was right when it came to food–fresh, local, organic, seasonal and sustainable–but I couldn’t articulate it, nor did I care much to share my view. Ten years ago, I’m not too sure I was even there, but I was at least on a path towards better food. Fifteen years ago, I was as blind as a bat. I lived life like everyone else, shopped at Wal-mart, used Miracle Grow on my veggie patch, at all kinds of pre-processed crap, drank gallons of high-fructose corn syrup laden products and lived a "normal" life. Somewhere along the way–perhaps when mainstream medicine failed me and I began looking at the world through alternative medicine–my eyes began to open to what was in front of me, and I was willing to admit to myself what I knew to be true. But not before the damage was done.
This article reflects what I have long felt to be true. We have been blind-sided by diet. Two sets of twins later, I realize we saw the light too late. I used to think it was all down to the fact that I was double-jointed or something, now I find out it was all that commercial milk and beef we were eating in the early 90’s. Monsanto owes me child support for at least two of my 5 girls. Thank God we switched back to RAW milk and Organic Beef just before the last set of girls was born.

Keep your car tuned up and oil changed. “Tuned up” and “efficient” are the same thing! Lost oil viscosity means more drag on the engine, and more energy lost.
