		<description>Thanks for commenting. I had no idea about the raisins either--perhaps its the sulfur, because my pup loves grapes. . .and garlic never seems to harm him--of course he usually licks around it no matter how finely chopped.</description>

		<description>I agree about the raw food diet. My friend feeds her dog all raw food and hers is the healthiest looking older dog I know. Pet products are pretty unregulated and it is shocking what the mainstream pet food manufacturers can get away with. I am an adoption counselor at an animal shelter and part of our adoption process is to educate people about good pet food options. Even for people who don&#039;t want the effort of feeding raw foods, there are some pretty good human-grade quality lightly processed brands out there (merrick, wellness, etc).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Just make sure that if you are feeding your pet table scraps that you know what is toxic to animals and what isn&#039;t. I was shocked to find out that raisins are highly poisonous to dogs and that garlic and&gt;Human Foods that Poison Pets&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
