The Gastrocast

It is a bit like watching one’s parent’s quarelling - I wouldn’t be surprised to hear the following exchange at Gnomedex over breakfast: Curry:”Would you ask Mr Winer to pass the butter?” Frightened Small Geek: “Mr Winer, would you please pass the butter?” Winer:”Would you tell Mr Curry that butter is very high in salt and cholestorol and so I’m passing this low-fat spread” Frightened Small Geek: “Mr Winer says…” Curry: “Just pass the f*#@ing butter, Winer you fat git!”

I don’t see anything black as a tar-barrel just yet! I don’t think anyone’s brave enough or carries enough clout with both of them to help them them get over it (it’s also easy to become confused and think that this is anybody else’s business but theirs!)
