Linking

Having problems with my links showing up as active in my rss reader. I am looking into this.  The links work on the blog page. For some reasons they are not all downloading into ipodder either. . .

I hope to have this fixed soon.

Feedburner Stats

I am excited to see a spike in my Feedburner stats.  On Saturday 43 people subscribed to the show. Alas, my fickle listeners dwindle away and never say why. . .Today we are at 17 subscribers. Oh loyal few, I thank you! If there is anything I should alter/change/include let me know. Feedback would be a Good Thing, Martha.

Meanwhile I am preparing a new show for this week.  I am going to try to cut down on the length. . .but it so hard to decide what to include or leave out.  If there is anything anyone is interested in hearing, learning about or experiencing, let me know.  I am going to try to arrange some interviews with chefs, producers, farmers soon to add some diversity to the show.

I am hoping my new camera will arrive this week so that I can continue to include pictures with the show.  Although not necessary, it does add a bit of something.

For those of you just discovering the Podchef’s Gastrocast, please subscribe to the show via feeds.feedburner.com/podchef.

There is a link on the right to the ipodder lemon podcast client–it’s not perfect, but it works.

If anyone is so inclined, please VOTE for me at PodcastAlley.com. More votes equals more listeners equals better content. . . .

Podchef Goes Soundseeing

The trial I was to serve a juror on was cancelled–so no courthouse Soundseeing. However, I offer this:

   Costco Soundseeing Tour

Join me as I travel to the mainland and go shopping for groceries and ingredients for the next Gastrocast. I also get a handle on my new iRiver and mic.

Here are some cameraphone pics of the overloaded Costco cart:

Full Shopping Cart

Shopping trolley and the flat-bed trolley they stacked everything on.

Groceries  Such is life when you only go shopping every two to three weeks.
